The Kid Power program is a result of many, many years of research, testing, and development.

Please take a few minutes to read this webpage. If you and your children are planning on participating in this course, please spend some time sharing this important information with them. This course and the required booklet will help students get the greatest amount of value from these classes. Not to mention the increased bond that you will share with your child.

Our Mission:?to empower and bully proof every child.

Our Purpose: ?) to be an example, and to educate as many children and their parents on the valuable non-violent tools and solutions for the prevention of bullying, and avoiding conflict; and 2) to bring peace of mind to children and their parents.

Our Vision: a world of confident kids that don’t have to worry about the stresses of being bullied.

The Challenge: The MOST IMPORTANT thing for kids to do when targeted by a bully is to stand up for themselves verbally.?A lot of kids aren’t confident enough to stand up for themselves verbally because they are not confident enough in their ability to defend themselves physically.?That is where this program comes in! The Kid Power Bully Prevention System does NOT show kids how to fight or get into more fights—it is just the opposite.? The Kid Powerprogram helps kids not to feel powerless or helpless, and gives their parents peace of mind, knowing that their child will make the best decisions and be able to “handle” a situation better than if they had not received this specific training.

The Benefits: Your child will no longer be a potential target, or victimized by bullies if you follow the Kid Powersystem. Your child will have more confidence and courage to deal with any situation if and when it arises. Your child will have more discipline, and a stronger bond will grow between you and your child.

The Answer: Kid Power, a complete Bully Prevention System for children of any age that consists of mental, verbal, and physical solutions. These strategies include peaceful, and non-aggressive self-defense techniques that are intended to prepare children for stressful conversations, conflicts, and physical confrontations. This program is specifically designed as a powerful step-by-step process for you and your child that is easy to follow and be remembered in a time of stress and panic.

Kid Power’s Three Key Concepts

1.    ?Instilling confidence through knowledge; by educating kids on what FEAR really is, and teaching them how to overcome it, and to not give away their power. Kids learn the 8 pillars of bully proof character, how to tap into their hidden potential, and how to be a “hard target”.?The importance of attitude, body language, and non- verbal communication is covered as well.

2.    ?Inspiring courage through demonstration and practice; by illustrating that each child has the inner strength and personal power to use their voice, and their verbal self-defense skills, to stand up for themselves in an assertive manner, that is non- aggressive. This is the section where self-confidence and self-esteem are essential, and joined with the courage to speak out in the face of injustice.

3.    ?Implementation through role playing; by giving kids the peaceful, non-aggressive, verbal, and physical self-defense strategies and psychological techniques to back up their critical conversation with the bully. This is the backbone of the Kid Power Bully prevention system, and where most anti-Bullying programs fall short. This is where the rubber meets the road. Without the capability to physically defend him or herself, the child will exhibit signs of low self-esteem and low self-confidence. This “weak presence” is easily detectable and will often cause a bully to challenge the child.
